Differences

Differences between the Two Keyboards

  • KTU-401 (B099): This is a three - Bluetooth - enabled folding keyboard with a numeric keypad.
  • KTU-402 (B099T): This is a three - Bluetooth - enabled folding keyboard with a touchpad.

About Connection

Bluetooth Not Recognized/Unable to Connect/Intermittent Connection

  1. First, fully charge the keyboard and then turn it off and on again.
  2. If the keyboard was previously connected, delete the previous connection record and follow the re-pairing steps below:

Re-Pairing Steps:

  1. Briefly press any channel button(FN+Q/W/E) and observe the indicator light flashing slowly, which indicates that the channel has been selected.
  2. Press and hold the same channel button(FN+Q/W/E) for 5 seconds until the pairing indicator light flashes quickly, indicating pairing mode.
  3. Finally, locate the keyboard in the Bluetooth connection list of your device and connect to it.

About Keys

Some Keys Not Working/Key Input Delay/Keys Typing Automatically

Fully charge the keyboard and then try re-pairing. If the issue is with a single or a few specific keys, press and hold the non-working key for 5-7 seconds to see if it starts working normally.

Keycap Falling Off

We do not offer individual keycaps for sale. First, check if there is any damage to the keycap clips. If not, try pressing the keycap firmly back into place.

Loud Key Clicks/Noise/Keys Stuck

First, clean the gaps between the keys. Then, press and hold the problematic key for 5-7 seconds and release to see if it resolves the issue.

FN Multi-Function Keys

The multi-function keys at the top of the keyboard have different default functions depending on the operating system. If a phenomenon occurs that is opposite to what is described in the manual, it is recommended to use the following shortcut keys to force a switch to the currently used system.

FN function key details:

  • KTU-401 System Switching Shortcuts:

For Windows system: FN + SHIFT (left) + D

For Mac system: FN + SHIFT (left) + F

For iOS system: FN + SHIFT (left) + A

For Android system: FN + SHIFT (left) + S

FN + A: iOS system

FN + S: Android system

FN + D: Windows system

FN + F: Mac system

About Charging

Unable to Charge

Try using a different charging cable and check if the light turns on and off normally.

Note: The charging indicator light is located at the top of the keyboard in the shape of a battery. A red light indicates that the keyboard is charging, and it will turn off when fully charged.

About Touchpad

Insufficient Touchpad Sensitivity/Delay

First, fully charge the keyboard. Then, go to the touchpad settings on your computer and adjust the pointer speed.

The keyboard works but the trackpad does not(only for KTU-401)

  1. First, ensure the trackpad function is enabled in Connected Devices: System Preferences > Accessibility > Mouse & Trackpad > Turn off the “Enable mouse buttons” option.
  2. Try fully charging the device, then disconnect and reconnect the keyboard and trackpad via Bluetooth.
  3. For iPhone or iPad, also ensure Assistive Touch is enabled: Settings > Touch > Assistive Touch > Enable Assistive Touch
