Product FAQ for SEENDA COS64-2 Pro

Getting Started & Compatibility

What systems are compatible with this keyboard and mouse?

This set is specifically designed for Mac and iOS users. It works fully with macOS and iPadOS. While it may also pair with Windows or Android, some features and key layouts are optimized for Apple devices.

I bought the keyboard on Amazon UK but received a US layout. What can I do?

If your keyboard has a US physical layout but you need a UK/European layout, first check the listing you purchased. We only list UK-layout keyboards on Amazon UK, but occasionally a fulfillment error occurs.

If the physical keys (like @, “, £, €) are not matching your region, please contact our support team with a photo of the keyboard and your Amazon order number. We will make it right.

The keyboard layout types the wrong characters on my Mac. How do I fix this?

Your Mac may be using the wrong keyboard type setting. Follow these steps:

① Go to System Settings > Keyboard.

② Click Change Keyboard Type… (or “Set Up Keyboard Assistant”).

③ Follow the on-screen instructions. When prompted, press the key next to the Shift key as shown.

④ Choose the correct layout:

- ANSI for US keyboards
- ISO for UK/DE/IT/ES/FR keyboards
- JIS for Japanese keyboards

⑤ After this, your keyboard should map correctly.

I didn’t receive a USB receiver. Where is it?

This is a Bluetooth-only keyboard and mouse set. It does not include a USB dongle. Simply follow the Bluetooth pairing steps to connect wirelessly to your device.

Bluetooth Connection Issues

My keyboard/mouse won’t connect or isn’t recognized

Try re-pairing first:

Keyboard

1. Short-press any Bluetooth channel button (e.g., BT1). The indicator light blinks slowly.
2. Press and hold that same channel button for about 5 seconds until the light blinks rapidly.
3. On your device, go to Bluetooth settings, find the keyboard, and connect.

Mouse

1. Press the channel-select button on the bottom of the mouse. The light blinks slowly.
2. Press and hold the same button for about 3 seconds until the light blinks rapidly.
3. Find the mouse in your device’s Bluetooth list and connect.

If that doesn’t work:

- Charge fully – plug in until the indicator turns solid green.
- Delete the pairing – “Forget” the keyboard/mouse in your device’s Bluetooth list, restart your device, and pair again.
- Test another device – try connecting to another computer, tablet, or phone.

The Bluetooth connection keeps dropping or is intermittent

- Make sure both the keyboard and mouse are fully charged.
- Re-pair using the steps above.
- Remove other nearby Bluetooth devices that may cause interference.
- Avoid metal surfaces between the keyboard/mouse and your computer.
- Wait a moment after your computer starts up, as Mac and iPad Bluetooth systems may need a few seconds to initialize.

The keyboard shows as “Connected” but no keys work, then it disconnects

This is most common on Mac models with older Bluetooth hardware. The keyboard and mouse use Bluetooth 5.1. Macs manufactured before 2017 may have Bluetooth modules that don’t fully support some newer BLE protocols.

First, try all re-pairing and charging steps above.

If the issue persists only on an older Mac but works on a newer device, a hardware compatibility limitation may be the cause.

Please contact support with your Amazon order number and Mac model/year for further assistance.

Keyboard Key Issues

Some keys are not working, or keys type automatically / with a delay

1. Fully charge the keyboard.

2. Re-pair it to your device (see connection steps).

3. If only one or a few keys are acting up, press the affected key firmly and hold it down for 5–7 seconds. Sometimes this helps re-seat the internal contact.

4. You can test all keys by visiting keyboardchecker.com.

5. If the problem continues, note which keys are misbehaving and contact support with your order number.

The number pad isn’t working

1. Make sure the keyboard is charged.

2. Press the Clear key (on the number pad). This key exits text-input mode; pressing it again clears selected text.

3. Try connecting the keyboard to another iPad or computer.

4. On a Mac, ensure Mouse Keys isn’t interfering:

Go to System Settings > Accessibility > Pointer Control.
Toggle “Mouse Keys” off.

The keyboard is connected with the iPhone but not typing

This may happen because your iPhone is not configured to allow input from an external keyboard.

First, ensure the keyboard is successfully connected to your phone, then go to:

Accessibility > Settings > Full Keyboard Access

Enable Full Keyboard Access and try typing again.

The spacebar isn’t responding (connect with iPad)

When Full Keyboard Control is enabled, the space bar may be remapped to the “Activate/Click” function, preventing normal space input.

① Disable Full Keyboard Control:

Go to:
Settings → Accessibility → Keyboard → Full Keyboard Control

Toggle the switch off.

② If you need the Full Keyboard Control feature:

Go to:
Full Keyboard Control → Commands → Find “Activate”

Tap “Activate” → Clear the shortcut for the space bar → Rebind it to another key (such as the Enter key).

My Caps Lock is stuck/not working

① The Caps Lock button is located on the left/main key area. There is an “A” pattern indicator next to the charging indicator.

② Fully charge the keyboard and reset the keyboard (ESC + 3 on the main key area), then reconnect the keyboard to check if the issue is resolved.

A keycap fell off

We don’t sell individual keycaps.

① Inspect the keycap and the switch underneath. If the plastic clips (latches) are not broken, press the keycap back onto the switch firmly until it snaps into place.

② If the switch or keycap is physically damaged, please send us a picture of the broken key for reference.

Mouse Issues

The mouse scroll wheel stopped working

1. Clean the scroll wheel – use a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol around the wheel. Then blow out debris with a hairdryer on the cool (no-heat) setting.

2. Fully charge the mouse – the indicator on the top side (between the buttons) should glow solid green when fully charged.

3. Test on another device – pair the mouse with a different computer or tablet to check whether the scroll function works there.

4. If the wheel feels loose or does not “catch,” and cleaning does not help, it may be a hardware fault.

The mouse cursor moves but buttons don’t respond

① Fully charge the mouse and your device first.

② Press and hold the unresponsive button(s) firmly for 5–7 seconds.

③ Forget the previous Bluetooth connection on your device and reconnect the mouse.

Charging & Power

How do I know when my keyboard/mouse is fully charged?

Keyboard:
The charging indicator is located above the number pad with a flash pattern.

- Red flashing = Low battery (channel lights will also flash)
- Solid red = Charging
- Solid green = Fully charged

Mouse:
The indicator is located underneath the DPI button.

- Red flashing = Low battery
- Solid red = Charging
- Solid green = Fully charged

My device won’t charge or the charging light doesn’t turn on

① Try a different USB-A to USB-C charging cable.

② Plug directly into a computer USB port. Avoid fast-charging wall adapters, as they may not be recognized.

My keyboard/mouse cannot hold a charge or has a short battery life

Try using another cable and fully charge the keyboard/mouse through a computer USB port. The charging indicator will turn green when fully charged. A full charge usually takes about 2–4 hours.

Keyboard:

When the backlight is off, the battery life can last approximately 320 hours.

When the backlight is on:
- 100% brightness: approximately 15 hours
- 60% brightness: approximately 28 hours
- 30% brightness: approximately 55 hours

Mouse:

Battery life is approximately 100 hours.
